Paul called to the Bar in 2004 after a decade of practice in criminal law, both for defence and prosecution, during which time he gained significant experience in both summary and solemn cases.
Since calling, he has, as junior alone and as leading junior, developed a busy practice in criminal cases throughout the courts of Scotland in relation to such matters as attempted murder, rape, fraud, drug trafficking, armed robbery and firearms offences.
